Saving Autistic Lives: We Really Mean it!

Our "Saving Autistic Lives" Mission begins with a Skype talk in Singapore by Dr. Antonio Rinaldi (February 16, 7 p.m.)

When A Mother’s Wish announced our mission to “save autistic lives”, it was not meant to be sensationalist headline.

For I have experienced first-hand the stress, pain, and heartache of raising my autistic child and heard many accounts of families of autistic individuals in similar straits all around the world.

It does not have to be this way, not for your autistic child, and not for the parents.

This is why A Mother’s Wish has dedicated the second half of our funds raised to organise a Skype talk in Singapore by Dr. Antonio Rinaldi, a clinical psychologist based in Italy.

Dr. Rinaldi possesses an in-depth knowledge of what autism is, the characteristics of autistic functioning, and strategies for forging relationships with autistic individuals.

This talk is not just for parents of autistic youths and young adults, but also for parents and professionals of young autistic children, which can prevent them from developing into anxious youths and adults who hit out at themselves and/or others. Thank to our subsidy, this 3-hour talk is just SGD11.60/person. At this point, only 19 people have signed up. We are hoping to benefit 50 people. If you are interested, please sign up now so that we can make our arrangements for the venue.
